Socially Incapacitated

May 26, a friend of mine is getting married and i have to be there. May 26 is also Flores the Mayo where my aunt who I owe a great debt of gratitude signed me up and I just could not say no.
To be fair Flores the Mayo was suppose to be tomorrow but as the church is so inconsistent, they re scheduled to May 26 where I absolutely have to be in my friend's wedding

Oh well, I'll just make it work.

I need a cocktail dress for the wedding and a gown worthy of the red carpet for the FDM

Anyway on to what's really important

Clappers
No I don't mean people who claps what I meant is the fictional terrorists in Neal Shusterman's Unwind

Why are they called Clappers?
Clappers are people who fill theirbloodstream with a highly volatile and explosive substance set off by a sudden movement usually involving pressure or a collision with force like clapping.

So why the heck am I blogging about this?

Well a while ago I was watching CNN (I was actually channel surfing) and there's a report about a suicide bomber hiding a bomb surgically implanted in his body.

It naturally made me think of the fictional Clappers.

With Xray the bomds could be detected inside a terrorist's body but what if the terrorist somehow develop highly volatile and explosive substance that could be injected in the bloodstream and with human ingenuity, we all know that its possible. SO maybe Clappers would no longer be fictional in the near future.

I just got a new book



Abandon by Meg Cabot

 I love the myth of Persephone and Hades, I think it's awfully romantic the way Hades spirited Persephone away (Is there something wrong with me?) So I'm really excited to read this book. 
I have no idea if it will be good since it had some really terrible review from Amazon but I'll reserved judgement till I read it.

Now I'll go and start reading.

It seems that my life nowadays revolves around the bakery, books and my nephew James who now insists that he be called Carlisle.

I love my nephew, my sister often complain that I love him more than my niece in which i promptly say : "Duh!"
I mean I've been helping take care of him since he was two months old and he is far sweeter and cuter than his older sister.
Anyway I'll get straight to real reason for this post:

James found the chocolate balls that his mom's been hiding and insisted on eating multiple balls at once. I could not help taking pics
